Thomas Dobler joined Acadian in 2017 and is a Portfolio Manager on the Equities Team. Prior to Acadian, he was a managing director of Multi-Asset Strategies at BlackRock. Previously, Thomas was a portfolio manager and head of tactical trading within the Hedge Fund Strategies Group at Goldman Sachs in New York. Thomas started his career in quantitative research at Salomon Brothers Asset Management. He holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from Columbia University, an M.S. in mathematics from the University of Illinois, and a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Vienna, Austria.
