Christian is Head of European Relationship Management for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM).

Previously, Christian was MAM's Relationship Manager for Germany. In this role, he introduced a large number of new investors to MAM's infrastructure and real assets platform and led the development of innovative investment solutions in conjunction with some of its flagship funds. Christian also has regulated roles as a member of the Supervisory Board of GLL Real Estate Partners GmbH and Head of the Macquarie Asset Management Europe S.a.r.l. Germany branch.

Christian joined Macquarie from Allianz Private Equity Partners, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Business Development from 2001 to 2009. His career in the financial industry started on the trading floor and later in the asset management division of HypoVereinsbank, a top five German bank.

Christian is a certified EFFAS financial analyst and an INSEAD alumnus. He holds a pre-diploma in business administration from the University of Regensburg and a Diplome d‘Études Approfondies in marketing and strategy from the University of Paris IX-Dauphine.
